Celebrity Big Brother best pals Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa had a run-in over the Love Island star's decision to choose someone else to enjoy a Chinese meal with in the house

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes' close bond came under pressure in the Celebrity Big Brother house as the former Love Island star snubbed his pal. Chris had a choice to make after being told he could pick one housemate to enjoy a Chinese meal with.

While he said his heart was telling him to pick JoJo, he went with Coronation Street star, Jack P Shepherd. But while Jack was thrilled with the decision, JoJo looked visibly annoyed. Chris decided to pick Jack with it potentially being his last night in the house as he was up for eviction.

As Chris tried to plead his corner, he claimed the decision was like choosing between his girlfriend and mate to go to a football game. Chris said to JoJo in the garden: "Do you know what that is like?

"That was like having a spare ticket to a football match and your girlfriend going 'oh I wanna come'.

"But you know deep down if you take your girlfriend your mates are going to batter you." However, the stateside reality TV star bluntly replied: "I'm not your girlfriend."

Chris tried to defend his comments again, saying: "No, but that's what it felt like. Right? So, me trying to choose... you know what i'm trying to say? I can't take you to the football when I should take one of the boys.

"Deep down, I left my heart aside and went with my head. Jack's had a tough day and he needs a good feed." JoJo smirked as she responded: "You know it means a lot that you care enough to came tell me.

"No hard feelings." She then grabbed Chris' face as she told him: "But I'm gonna remember it," before he panicked and said: "No, don't! That's not fair," before hugging her.

When Chris and Jack received their Chinese meal, Chris gushed: "This is real." They sat down to eat the meal while others watched on, with Chris joking Danny Beard and Daley Thompson were "like dogs at the table".

The housemates kept warning Chris and Jack "you better not be" when they claimed to be getting full with many of the 11 dishes still relatively untouched. It led to fans online reacting to the meal.

One user on Twitter/X said: "Chris ordering his Chinese is giving Smithy and I CAN'T DEAL!! He even sounds like him a bit!! #CBBUK #CBB."

Another added: "Chris and JoJo are house "friends" but, why is he laying on so thick to justify choosing Jack for the Chinese #CBBUK."
